[ Maya orders something fruit-flavored and neon-colored for herself. Funnily enough, it matches her hair, which she wasn't really expecting, but why the hell not? ]
I wasn't aware you had bartender-summoning powers.
[ Well, what do you know, Kasumi's drink is similarly neon-colored and almost matches the color of her lip markings--so neon-colored, in fact, that it almost looks like it's glowing. An asari cocktail, for sure, and it reminds Kasumi of all the times Shepard's stumbled into port observation to drink with Kasumi. Good times.
[ She merely rolls her eyes at Peter because this whole glow-in-the-dark thing is far more interesting, anyway. ]
Uh-huh.
That must be fun.
[ In bed. And as another true testament to how unsubtle Kasumi can be when she wants to, she doesn't actually have to say "in bed" to get that much across to the two. She grins against the rim of her glass and takes a sip of her drink, in the meantime. ]
I'm just teasing. I'm actually really happy for you two.
[ And that's said with an new, almost uncharacteristic sincerity in her tone that neither of them have probably come across at this juncture. So enjoy. ]
[ Peter bites back his instinct to say something flippant and teasing, if only because bouts of earnestness don't sit well with him; and he has a feeling that saying something like that would make him look like a dick, so instead, he raises his glass in toast before taking a swig. ]
[ She, too, raises her glass and takes a drink. Though it occurs to her that Kasumi must get lonely sometimes, traveling around the galaxy on her own like she did.
The thought makes her kind of sad ]
You know, we were chatting on the way over here and we were thinking it would be fun if the three of us teamed up more often.
[ she looks thoughtful for a moment as she continues sipping on her drink. The truth is, whether she would ever admit it to herself or anyone else, is that Kasumi hadn't quite realized how lonely her lifestyle could be until the Normandy crew parted ways. When she'd lost Keiji, she was too preoccupied with grief, with a different kind of loneliness. But when the crew split, Kasumi would begin to realize how nice it was to just. Have people around. To bother, mostly, but she guessed they could be considered friends. When she was alone again, she retreated back into Keiji's graybox in hopes that things would be okay again, now that they were together once more.
And this she would never admit, but there's only so much a prerecorded hologram could do. At times, being in the graybox would make her feel even more alone.
In any case, these are thoughts that neither Peter or Maya needed to be privy to. The only indication of her hesitation here would be the pause before she responds. ]

At present, she grins at Maya. ]
There's a lot you don't know about me.

Like you and your penchant for drinking poured-out glow sticks, for instance? I can't imagine that's particularly healthy.

Why, are you worried for my health, Star-Lord?

[ He waves to Kasumi's drink. ] I'd like to see how you can manage to crawl through vents once you've had one too many of those. All I'm sayin'.
Too late for Maya, though. [ Another wave, this time to her tattoos. ] She already glows in the dark.

Babe, I think Kasumi is like, getting weirdly invested in our sex life.

I don't think I'd mind that, actually.

Next time we need an expert infiltrator and hacker, we'll give you a call. Possibly stick Rocket in a closet somewhere, I dunno.

Don't forget--I'm also way prettier than Rocket and way less likely to blow things up for no real reason.

imagining maya, kasumi, and gamora together? absolutely not.He hums in thought at that, then sighs. ]
Alright, gotta make a concession, there. Much easier on the eyes than Rocket.

Being less likely to blow things up is a plus, as well.

Well, if the opportunity comes up, you know where to find me.
[ ... No they don't, Kasumi. ]
Or, you know. We'll figure it out somehow.

Of, you know, leave contact info like a normal person.
