He pulls out a notebook and pen, rips out a page, and replaces everything he doesn't need to its original place.
When he returns, placing the paper on the tabletop, the page is dog-eared and slightly yellow at the edges, but it's paper, so. ]
[ She almost asks if the paper came from the 1980's too, but then she realizes, given what she knows, that it probably did, which brings them back around to mood ruiner.
So instead she says, ]
If you want comprehensive, I might have to do some research, but Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park are definitely goin' on the top of the list.
You ever see Highlander? I think that was early eighties.
[ His grandpa (and sometimes Mom, when she was up for it) used to take him to movies a lot, try to distract him from the too-frequent visits to doctors and to hospitals. In the early days, it worked pretty well, and sometimes it was pretty fun. ]
