If I'm a geek for building robots, than what the hell are you? Because I'm pretty sure "connoisseur of 1980's pop culture and science fiction" is a fancy way of saying "geek".

Anyway, if you're a fan of reconstituted something-or-others, grub's on me, 'cause that's about all I can manage. If you want actual food, you'll have to grab Drax, and he's in the middle of sparring with Gamora, and he's liable to snap your neck if he's too in the zone.

[ He pushes away from the shelf he was leaning against and heads out. ] C'mon, kid.

[ She maintains that he's a total geek, but opts not to bring that up in the face of free lunch. She takes her mask off and sets her tools aside to follow him out. ]

[ He leads them to the tiny little space they've affectionately called the galley, though it's little more than a square table on one side; a fridge, a stove, and narrow cupboards are housed in a little alcove, and Peter immediately starts digging through what they've got. There's a muffled and pleased, "-- Oh, what the, we have bread?" before Peter calls back to Gaige. ]

Hey, I know I just got your hopes up for that just-add-water crap, but do you want a sandwich instead?

... Y'know, this is a pretty neat place you got here.

[ He is INSTANTLY pleased as he starts getting out the fixings for a sandwich. The Milano is his baby, after all. ]

Yeah. I mean, I can only imagine how cramped it gets with six of you on board, but at the same time it's kinda... I dunno, cozy, I guess?

It's not as bad as you'd think. [ He pushes a plate toward her -- it's not a fancy sandwich, by any means, but it's certainly one of the more edible things he can manage. After that, he starts working on one for himself. ]

I mean, yeah, there've been a few times where we've had to pry Rocket off of Drax's back -- I mean that literally, by the way, -- and I can name you at least five times where Gamora's stormed off to punch things in the cargo bay, but, you know. Not so bad, given our collective track record.

I mean, it's probably not too different from when all you bunked together with the Crimson Raiders, right?

A couple of coughs later (which were muffled into the crook of his elbow, so never fear, Gaige) and he can breathe again. ]

I was about to ask if it was a cool cult, but since it was a cult, I'm thinkin' it's a no.

She asked us to infiltrate it to see if they were doin' like, unwilling human sacrifice and shiz.

Turns out they were, so Lili like, phasewalked in like a badass and helped us melt all their faces. It was pretty sweet.

Huh. You know, we haven't had to disband a cult yet. Definitely puttin' that one on the bucket list.

I'm pretty sure bustin' up a crazy religious group is, like, one of the things you have to check off before you can really call yourself a team. We've mostly been takin' out smugglers and black-market weapons dealers and shit. Small time, to be honest.
