[ OH SHIT she was not expecting that, and it makes her mask fall back down over her face as he does it. She flails, trying to shove him off. (She's mindful of her robot arm, though. That thing can smash concrete and the last thing she wants to do is flail it into something vital or easily broken. Like his nose or something.) ]
[ She holds up her mask long enough to stick out her tongue and flip him the bird with her robot hand, bastion of maturity that she is. With that she flicks the mask- bright yellow, pilfered from a Hyperion engineer who won't be needing it ever again- back down over her face and takes up her welder again. ]
[ Peter leans against one of the cases, an elbow resting on one of the shelves, and he watches her work. He waits for a pause in her work before he interrupts. ]
[ she shrugs. Not like a whole two people on the ECHOnet already don't know ]
Happened while I was building DT. I sliced my arm with some sheet metal- not a big cut, it barely went like, halfway to the bone- and it occurs to me, I could just jet the wound with an Insta-Health and get back to circumventing the Turing chip with a Hecker circuit reintegrator, or I could kill two birds with one stone. See, I could never figure out a good method to quick-summon DT, but as blood began to spurt from the gash in my forearm, I realized it: a cybernetic limb! I could program all of DT's digistruct data into one robotic arm, and use that to summon DT at any time, any place! So I figure, what the heck, and I sliced off the rest of my arm with a particle saw.
And my dad was freaking out and blood's like, going everywhere. But a few hours and a few pints of blood later, I built a metal arm strong enough to smash concrete!

Which means I should be allowed to play with my robot in the house.

You may just be one of the craziest people I've ever met. And I live with a bunch of maniacs, so that's saying something.
